Eddie in one of the newest additions to the Service department. Eddie first started working on Volkswagens in 1970. A small shop in California called “Westfalia” was his first home which he eventually left for an official dealer. Since then Eddie has worked for two other VW dealerships. If we do the math, that’s over 36 years of dealership experience and over 36 years of extensive training and certification. We had to clear out wall space for all his certificates. Eddie traces time by fuel systems and engine type, he says, “First it was air-cooled, with carburetion, then diesels, then fuel injection, then water-cooled … “ Eddie says the reason he’s been fixing cars for so long is that he loves doing it and now it comes so easy to him. He reads electrical wiring diagrams for fun. (Not really, but he could!) His expertise is an asset to the other mechanics, and Eddie also enjoys being the go-to guru. He’s a solid teacher as well!

Eddie enjoys the weekends by barbecuing with his family as well as fishing and hunting with his daughters.
